Office XP Professional - Special Edition
is a curious beast, it replaces the
Office 2000 Premium package that Microsoft has decided not to
continue in the Office XP range Microsoft is only selling it
as an upgrade package with no full version available. In
addition they've said it will only be available for a limited
time, without giving a firm date. Many Office XP retailers
don't sell the Professional Special Edition at all, even
Microsoft's own online store doesn't mention it! You must be
a registered user of Office 97 or Office 2000 to qualify for this
upgrade.
